Trust and security

Patient data, handled with care.

DentalTrak moves prescriptions, scans and patient information between practices and laboratories all day. The platform was built around that responsibility from the first line of code.

HIPAA conscious design

Built around HIPAA requirements for handling patient information.

Encrypted storage

Files and records encrypted at rest and in transit, always.

Secure file sharing

Scans, photos and designs move over encrypted, resumable transfer.

Audit logs

An append only trail of who touched what, and exactly when.

Enterprise infrastructure

Redundant, monitored and engineered for the workloads of healthcare.

Cloud native

Nothing to install and nothing to patch. Every update reaches everyone instantly.

Role based permissions

Admins, technicians, practices and partner labs each see exactly what they should.

Reliable uptime

Always on infrastructure your front desk can rely on every morning.

The audit trail

Who touched what, and exactly when.

The audit log records every authenticated request, append only, in line with HIPAA 164.312(b): who, what action, which resource, status and severity. Accesses to protected health information are tracked separately, and you can filter by action, resource, severity or user whenever a question comes up.

Session timeouts and per role scoping round out the picture: practices are scoped to their practice, laboratories to their lab, and partner labs to the cases referred to them.

Boundaries that hold

Everyone sees their part. Nothing more.

Practices

See their own cases, approvals, billing and doctors. They never see a laboratory's internal pricing, analytics or other practices' cases.

Partner laboratories

See only the cases referred to them. They never see your other partners, your full book of practices or your analytics.

Technicians

Land on a personal bench with only the work assigned to them, without wading through the whole lab's board.

Built for the responsibility of patient data.

HIPAA conscious, encrypted and audited. Get started and see for yourself.
